October 13 Update: A report on the response of The White Helmets to the clashes in the countryside of Aleppo

Clashes continue in the countryside of Aleppo for the third consecutive day, and the Syrian Civil Defense teams continue to carry out their humanitarian duty to aid the injured, in addition to evacuating a number of families located in the areas of conflict, and putting out the fires left by the clashes.

Response from 8 pm yesterday, Wednesday, October 12, until today, Thursday, October 13, at 8 pm.

  • Our teams rescued a person who was injured during the clashes in Jindires district in Afrin countryside after midnight last night.
  • Our teams treated a person who was shot on Qabasin Road in the eastern countryside of Aleppo and died in the hospital while receiving treatment
  • Our teams rescued a person who was shot as a result of the clashes in the town of Baza'a.
  • Our teams transferred the body of a person who was killed during the clashes, from the town of Jindires in the countryside of Afrin to the town of Atma in the northern countryside of Idlib.
  • Our teams evacuated 5 families from the areas of clashes between the city of Al-Bab and the town of Baza'a to safer areas.
  • Our teams put out a fire in a grain warehouse on Al-Bab-Qabasin Road, which caught fire as a result of the clashes.
  • Our teams put out a fire in an oil factory near Jabal Al-Deir on Al-Bab-Qabasin Road as a result of the clashes.
  • Our teams put out a fire in a non-residential building in the city of Afrin.
